Several of us were worried : was it a bug or a deliberate modification ?

Everything is now back to normal : so it was a bug.

We are very happy with it.

Dear friends,

Since yesterday, DA has removed the EXIFs that could be viewed by clicking on "show more" under the deviations which are photographs.

For what ? But why ?

This certainly interested few people, but photography is an art which is nevertheless based on a technique, and it was pleasant for some photographers to discuss technical data with others.

So, if this is not a bug, it is yet another regression of this site.

If you agree with me, repost this journal.

Depuis hier, DA a supprimé les EXIF qui pouvaient être visualisés en cliquant sur "afficher plus" sous les "deviations" qui sont des photographies.

Pour quoi ?Mais pourquoi ?

Cela intéressait certes peu de monde, mais la photographie est un art qui repose néanmoins sur une technique, et il était agréable pour certains photographes de discuter de données techniques avec d'autres.

Donc, si ce n’est pas un bug, c’est une énième régression de ce site.

Si vous êtes d'accord avec moi, republiez ce post.

My answers to :

It's not easy to respond to this challenge by just being a photographer.But I enjoyed thinking about it and giving my answers.

1. A genre or style I've tried and decided isn't for me : everything that corresponds to drawing and painting.

2. A common art advice I find hard to follow : do not give much importance to photographic technique, which would be boring and would not produce more interesting images.

3. My biggest art-related fear : I fear that AI will supplant and weaken photography.

4. A project I've been putting off : organize a real meeting with my photographer friends from DA.

5. A subject I feel like I'll never master : portrait lighting.

6. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate my skills as an artist as a : 4.

7. A subject or theme I avoid in my art : nudes.

8. The most challenging project I've ever worked on and why : taking wedding photos : the stakes are high and there are so many people...

9. How I deal with creative blocks : I'm waiting for a better day.

10. A skill I stopped learning... and have no regrets : to know the advanced functions of Photoshop.

11. How I handle criticism and feedback: I think there's never enough.

12. My biggest motivater as an artist: to read my friends' comments.

13. A skill I have that unfortunately won't pay the bills: to photograph rurality with kindness.

14. A project I abandoned and why : to organize a real meeting with my photographer friends from DA (see n°4) because I have the impression that most people aren't interested.

15. A color I rarely use and why : on the contrary, I like to use all the colors of life.

16. My hobby or interest that always competes with art : my grandchildren. :)

17. A place I feel the most creative : everywhere.

18. A place I feel the least creative : nowhere.

19. The most unexpected inspiration for my art : precisely, it will be unexpected and therefore unpredictable.

20. My main challenge as an artist this year : to meet my best DA friend somewhere in France.
